Hey, I’m Andrew

I’m a writer/producer with one foot in gaming, one foot in features/television. I have a degree in religious studies, and I try to infuse that fascination with history, mythology and philosophy into elevated genre storytelling. I love sci-fi, action, horror, thrillers, anything that lets me build new worlds to live in.

WHAT I’M DOING

This year, I sold an original horror feature to a studio-level buyer (announcement TBA), and am developing several television projects, as well as writing for Stress Level Zero, the industry leader in virtual reality. Additionally, after showrunning the CW series “Warigami”–which premiered at Cannes Series and was broadcast on the CW in 2019–I co-created and wrote “Hello Puppets,” a VR horror comedy for Facebook’s Oculus platform that became a viral sensation with over 60 million streams on YouTube. We sold the property to tinybuild, one of the biggest indie publishers in gaming, and are working on the hotly anticipated sequel.

WHAT I’VE DONE

After graduating USC’s graduate film program, I wrote an official adaptation of the bestselling “Battlefield” franchise for Electronic Arts and Verizon, which premiered to record-breaking streaming numbers and became a fan favorite. I also spent a year as a “Franchise Lab” writer for Chaotic Good, developing new IPs with top level creative execs and pitching them to studios, streaming platforms, book publishers, comics publishers, game developers, and others. I was also the showrunner and executive producer on Warigami for New Form and The CW.
